As my blog has gotten a little more, er, grown up… one of the things I have to do ALL the time, is put together vision boards. Sometimes I need to see whether everything I have planned for a room will work together. Describing the room can only go so far, and more often than not I just need to put it into a design board! I thought you might enjoy seeing what my process is.
Friends. Readers. Matt Damon. Apologies for the radio silence over here. I LITERALLY realized last Thursday that Martha and Louisa are home from school this week. Rather than going a WHOLE week without saying howdy, I wanted to share some fun plans I have in the works around here! Let’s start with our playroom… Last you saw, here’s how it looked.
I’m pleased to announce that today’s “Before” picture might just be the worst I’ve ever shared here on the blog. There have certainly been others, but this is pretty bad. However… it’s also the honest reality of where this project is starting! Like I took these pictures on MONDAY. (The One Room Challenge is a 6 month project, right? Kidding… I know the drill.)
Sometimes I hear other bloggers talk about this mythical thing they call an editorial calendar. I know not of what they speak. I *think* what they’re describing is this ability they have to plan ahead. Possibly a schedule of sorts? Here’s how I organize my blog… I have about 20 ideas that our ‘out there’. Some written down… others not. And then some DIY bee bites me in the butt and it’s game on. So it went with the kids bathroom upstairs. A week ago… not on my radar. Today. Design board.
