This is how fall tends to look at my house: greenery and pumpkins and a hint of texture. I typically try to decorate for the season without going crazy… I try to work with what I have and set it all up in such a way that we can live with it all for more than a month!
I’m having a ‘just like that, fall arrived’ moment here, but… I’m not quite ready to jump in with both feet. Ten days ago, I was sitting on a dock by the lake… kids splashing, sun shining… fall felt MONTHS away. The idea of bringing out the pumpkins and gourds and bright colored leaves was painful to say the least. In lieu of the whole hog autumn explosion, I thought I’d share some ideas I had for easing the ol’ girl into the fall season. Baby steps to fall, y’all!
