The end of our playroom is a tough space to decorate. A door opening up to the patio means we don’t have enough space for a full seating area, but there’s always been a seat or two over there. It’s also a great spot for all my houseplants… lots of great light. I decided that a colorful bench might be the right solution.
Martha’s current desk was a sweet little wooden desk from the flea market we made over a few years ago. We didn’t have much space in her old bedroom for a desk, but in her new room… she wanted a slightly larger desk. When I saw this vintage metal school desk, I grabbed it for $20. It doesn’t have a ton of storage, but it was the right price and will be the perfect size for the wall next to her bed.
This old wooden table was upstairs in our third floor guest room at the old house and was a Craigslist purchase years ago. I’ve always loved the shape and the fact that it is a smaller table but it also has a couple of drawers for storage. This lil’ guy was the perfect size but not the perfect color.
