Inspired by some chairs I saw at Anthropologie, this graphic and colorful update to our kitchen chairs is such a fun detail for our slowly evolving kitchen space. I used fabric to transform plain chairs into show stoppers.
Wanna see my bathroom?! How often do you get to see THOSE words pop up in your email?! Today’s your day, folks… I’m sharing how AMAZING a simple coat of paint made the kids’ bathroom look. I have other plans for the space, but changing the vanity alone makes the room look BRAND new! Or at least of this decade.
My sweet, sweet Eleanor. She is so many wonderful creative things, but… tidy, she is NOT. She developed her hoarding skills early on in life and as she gets older, that talent has remained. All to say, her desk area was getting scary. She’s actually pretty reasonable about throwing out her piles of artwork and projects, but still her old desk wasn’t cutting it. I brought in a $25 replacement from the ReStore and her desk area is SO much more organized as a result!
Sometimes I find things at the flea market that I didn’t know I needed. Exhibit A: this pair of stackable vinyl stools/ ottomans. I’m a sucker for good extra seating and bonus points if it doesn’t take up too much room. These slide right under the coffee table in our family room and are perfect for when the kids gather around to play games or build with their magnet tiles.
Last week I debuted our awesome eclectic repurposed patio makeover (say that ten times fast!) and I promised to share a tutorial on how I painted those cushions! If you’re cool with my oh-so-casual summer hair, then carry on! I got all the deets for you here!
