    I’m pretty sure I start every sewing post I write with the same thing: I can barely sew a straight line so if I can do it, you can too! Today’s project might just take the cake… I used leftover upholstery fabric to sew THE CUTEST fabric clutches and each one took 5 minutes MAX.

    Years ago, I made a fun alphabet pillow, so when I was invited to participate in my friend Bari’s Indigo & Aster Blog Tour, I was thrilled to join the fun to make another one of these pillows and share the tutorial with you!     When I started getting ready for my spring house tour, I headed into Homegoods as any good DIYer would do… I was looking for small things to brighten up the space. Accessories. Planters. Throw pillows. I found a few things for the first two categories but no great throw pillows. Boo. But have no fear… have I got a hack for you! Wanna know what’s the same size as a lumbar pillow? Dishtowels!

    I’m a firm believer in the power of a good window treatment.  It softens the space AND keeps the neighbors from getting an eye full… win-win.  For our Home Office makeover I was originally going to sew another set of curtain panels but then I decided to sew these super simple roman shades.
