Summer is For… Picnics and Parties

This month’s theme for our DIY Housewives round up is “picnics”. I was one step away from backing out when I remembered these. I made these ages ago for the 4th of July and they’re STILL one of my favorite holiday projects. I’ve made them for other holidays and LOVE how simple they are. Adding just the right amount of budget cheer to our picnic festivities… these patriotic plates are about ready to make their summer appearance!

Holiday decor can be tricky. On one hand it makes everything seem so much more festive and celebratory, but on the other hand… it’s a big expense for something you only use for a week or two a year. Which is why these chargers are the perfect solution to the conundrum.
