Whenever I’m doing CT Style, I try to bake in some time to hit the New Haven Ikea… last time I went in, I was elated to see these baskets that I love. They’re perfect planters, perfect storage or even a fun textured bowl if kept folded in half. I liked the plain straw, but I also loved the idea of jazzing these guys up a bit!

Another week, another update to our Dueling DIY! Sarah’s been hash-tagging left right and center hoping that no one will notice her lame updates. Bla bla bla… murphy bed. Bla bla bla… painting. Boring all of it. Frankly, I apologize that you fine people need to concern yourself with the state of her guest room. I’m sure you have showers to take, cheetos to eat, and Kardashians to tweet at.
Choosing aforementioned color and pattern can be the MOST overwhelming process. We have a handful of fabric places nearby and *maybe* one wallpaper source but honestly, I much prefer ordering these things online. It may cost $20 or so in order to get swatches, but I’d much prefer to peruse and gather my choices from my couch with some tween show playing on Netflix. These are some tips that will hopefully make the whole process easier!
