THANK YOU for such a wonderful welcome to At Charlotte’s House! I am THRILLED to be in my shiny new home! It’s been a long time coming and I appreciate ALL of your emails and help pointing out any little hiccups. Change is hard, but sometimes SO worth it! (In case you missed it… see […]
It’s the first Wednesday of the month which means it’s a Housewives day! You’re welcome to run off and binge watch the Real Housewives on Bravo, but I’m talking about the DIY Housewives. Once a month we all share some of our favorites in a fun round up for all of you! This month, we’re starting with bathrooms. So glamorous for the new year, I know! Sadly… I don’t have too many bathrooms fit to print, but… I did come up with a storage solution for under our old vanity last year and it’s still holding strong.
I LOVE a DIY Housewives day! 1. It gives me a chance to virtually hang out with my blog pals. 2. I get to stalk their posts and get fun ideas. 3. I get to give a little love to one of my older projects that might be feeling insecure about being buried back in posts of holiday’s past. Today I’m sharing one of my all time favorites. Why is it a favorite? Well…. I love a good hack. This one was ‘inspired’ by a similar one at Target but I amped up the color and added a little bling because… bling.
Holy November, Batman. What happened to October? I’m already loving my One Room Challenge shed and excited to show week 5 progress with you later tonight! But today… I’m teaming up with my homegirls from the DIY Housewives to share some of our favorite Thanksgiving posts! I’ve admitted on the blog before that holiday decorating isn’t something that comes naturally to me. I mean, it does… but usually a few days before the holiday which doesn’t do my readers any good!
Not to get all Siri on you, but it’s October, folks. OCTOBER. Ex-squeeze me? If you saw my post from last week, you’ll know that I’m knee deep in ‘big girl’ upholstery triage right now. It seemed like a fitting time to share with some of my newer readers a headboard I tackled almost a year ago that was an upholstery VICTORY. So basically, it’s my little internal pep talk that I can in fact upholster. Baby steps to the armchair, Charlotte. Baby steps.
