Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh… the playroom is DONE! Thanks to Raymour & Flanigan, our playroom is the perfect combination of chic and child-friendly. The space is the FIRST thing you see when you step into our foyer, and we have lots and lots of stuff when you factor in toys and games and books and trucks for all five kids.
When I started getting ready for my spring house tour, I headed into Homegoods as any good DIYer would do… I was looking for small things to brighten up the space. Accessories. Planters. Throw pillows. I found a few things for the first two categories but no great throw pillows. Boo. But have no fear… have I got a hack for you! Wanna know what’s the same size as a lumbar pillow? Dishtowels!
One of my FAVORITE projects from last week’s Spring House Tour was this large DIY floral wreath. I was poking around Pinterest looking for “spring decor” and saw a simple rustic wreath that I loved! But (there’s always a but…) I didn’t have a ginormous wreath on hand. Know what I DID have on hand? 95 wire coat hangers.
If there’s one thing I LOVE, it’s a gorgeous lush terrarium. I shared a How To tutorial years ago and it’s awful. The information ain’t all bad, but Eleanor could probably take better pictures with her lego phone. So when my amazing friend Cindy helped me design my GORGEOUS logo for At Charlotte’s House, I decided to try my hand at this terrarium tutorial one more time!
