Slowly but surely, this little guest room of hours has transformed from a cheerful girl’s nursery to a colorful multipurpose space filled with pattern and more pattern. You’ve been following along at the edge of your seats I’m sure so I’m thrilled to be sharing the whole space with you finally!
You’ve heard me reiterate my goals for the space over the last couple of months so you know I wanted to make this small room feel a little bigger but still make it work as a guest room. I decided to orient the bed against the wall and turn it into a daybed. But the only daybeds I saw online were ‘meh’. Sooooooo, I built one!
Hopping in today to give a Dueling DIY update. The finish line is IN SITE and I’m loving how this little room is coming together so much! Skip ahead if you already know the deal, but for anyone JUST joining, my friend Sarah from Ugly Duckling House started the Dueling DIY as a way to have fun competition with another blogger (me!) and an excuse to talk the slightest bit of trash.
Another Dueling DIY update and this one is a good one! For those of you scratching your heads… real quick, Dueling DIY is a fun faux competition that my friend Sarah from Ugly Duckling House set up between her and another blogger to coax and heckle each other into finishing a space!
