This room used to have a large sectional in the corner. The sectional was fine, but not great. It didn’t exactly fit the space and left the room feeling a little lopsided. I decided to swap out our sectional for a new improved family room layout. Did I mention I’m EUPHORIC!
When I tell you this post is down to the wire, I mean it’s DOWN TO THE WIRE! I actually photographed the room last week, but editing and hitting publish was the challenge here! I digress… our third floor bathroom is DONE! Fin! Complete! With everything all said and done, this makeover was my favorite type: dramatic before/ after but not any real “heavy lifting”… i.e. mostly superficial!
Our family room is next on my hit list. I have plans in place for a major overhaul, but until then, I’m trying to freshen up the space a bit and using smoke and mirrors to give it a new look! When Annie Selke offered to send along some of their newly launched autumn decor collection (hello, indigo!), I was THRILLED to use it as a springboard for the family room reboot.
When we moved into this house a couple of years ago, Louisa was still in a crib! She had her own cute little room and Martha got a palace! Louisa’s room transitioned her from a crib into a bed, but it was TIGHT. And Martha’s room got a few little changes like a corner desk area, but not a lot of attention. Until NOW.
