I swear I’ve ‘tweeked’ our living room half a dozen times in the 22 months that we’ve been in this house. For those of you who follow my Instagram stories… you know that I completely rearranged the living room after finding a glass coffee table at the ReStore. It’s the “Give A Mouse A Cookie” version of interior design! We’ve been living with this arrangement since December and I *think* this might be the one to stick.
75% of the time, my ‘office’ is the family room couch and the coffee table. 5% of the time, my ‘office’ is a local coffee shop. BUT… 20% of the time, I actually sit in our actual office. (Mark uses it every time he works from home so it does get more action than I’m giving it credit for…) It’s connected to our living room and basically the mirror image of that space. Which means its big and has some challenges as far as furniture placement. Here’s what we were dealing with when we first moved in:
Hop onto the Way Back Machine with me, folks, and let’s take a little spin. Allow me to remind you how this backyard shed supreme looked 18 months ago when we moved into this house. In a word, dreary. I am SO excited that I am now staring at a bright and colorful and USEFUL space for me to use for so many things!
Once a month I join forces with my Thrifty Style gals and we share some little bit of thrifty awesomeness from our homes! After four years of blogging, I could pretty much close my eyes and anything I’d touch would be ‘thrifted’ but today I’m going to pull back the curtain and show you our playroom! Until now the playroom has been a bit like Voldemort… unnamed and ne’er photographed… It’s still not finished (hello wallpaper residue on the walls), but I just brought home that coffee table I’m liking this new furniture configuration.
