It’s been weeks, but… I can FINALLY share my super secret Rachael Ray related project! The producers challenged me to make over the girls bathroom on a budget and so I did for… SIXTY dollars. No lie… I truly didn’t spend any more than that! Here’s how the ol’ girl looked before I started. When I was telling Rachael about the room I described it as this space that didn’t reflect me or the rest of our colorful house. Ya think?
Our foyer was one of the last rooms in the house to get a little makeover love. Right when we moved in, I repainted a thrifted foyer table and I gave some bright red chairs a bit of a make-under. Essentially the space had an assortment of furniture I pulled together and that’s how it’s been for a couple of years. Until NOW! I am THRILLED to be partnering with Bassett Furniture to share some of their GORGEOUS furniture from their Labor Day launch collection.
I don’t do a lot of client design work, but when your daughter’s best friend needs a bedroom redesign…. you do it! My friend asked me to come over and help organize/ redesign her daughter’s bedroom using shades of blue and teal and as much of her old stuff as possible, but also bringing in new things that might help with the storage, etc.
Our bedroom has fallen victim to the If You Give a Mouse a Cookie syndrome. A few weeks ago I innocently shared a glimpse of this bench at Homegoods and you all EGGED ME ON! I was happily sharing this colorful piece of furniture and then everyone was all, “that’s so you!”… “buy it”… “tell me you didn’t leave it behind”… So I went back and got it.
