These DIY pumpkin projects are fun way to toast the fall season! From baking to crafting to decorating, these ideas will get you in the mood for all things autumnal!
I used to knit. A lot. Every day of college (and even high school sometimes) I’d plop down in front of Days of Our Lives and get my knit on. I haven’t knit in a while. I tell myself I’m going to knit, and get suckered into a pattern or the beautiful textures of the yarn and I buy ALL OF THE THINGS. I sit down and count out the stitches and knit the first 4 or 5 inches and then… it ends up in the knitting graveyard. These sweet little bits of fall are one way I’ve found to actually *use* some of that lonely yarn.
I’m having a ‘just like that, fall arrived’ moment here, but… I’m not quite ready to jump in with both feet. As I’ve been looking around for fall decor, I’ve seen SO many gorgeous wreaths at places like Homegoods and Michaels. Care to guess the price point of said wreaths? Some of them are $60+ dollars!
Ten days ago, I was sitting on a dock by the lake… kids splashing, sun shining… fall felt MONTHS away. The idea of bringing out the pumpkins and gourds and bright colored leaves was painful to say the least. In lieu of the whole hog autumn explosion, I thought I’d share some ideas I had for easing the ol’ girl into the fall season. Baby steps to fall, y’all!
