I picked up this glass bowl for $1 and then saw an amazing Audubon book that was also $1 and figured I’d walk you through the makeover! Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing paper or other items onto the surface.
The end of our playroom is a tough space to decorate. A door opening up to the patio means we don’t have enough space for a full seating area, but there’s always been a seat or two over there. It’s also a great spot for all my houseplants… lots of great light. I decided that a colorful bench might be the right solution.
I LOVE this makeover. Not as much as I love Dawson Leery, but it was super easy and makes SUCH a difference so yeah… I love it a lot. I picked up a handful of statues from thrift stores and Facebook marketplace… anywhere I could find them for under $10. Here’s my secret weapon: Plutonium Spray Paint.
A few weeks ago, I joined forces and set up a table (or 4) at a neighborhood tag sale. I had the best of intentions to be organized and set up lovely vignettes and take the tag sale by storm.
